Attending the Inaugural Chinese Journal of Comparative Law Conference on “Comparative Law and Transitional Systems: The Past, Present and Future”

Organized by the X’an Jiaotong University School of Law, The Inaugural Chinese Journal of Comparative Law Conference on “Comparative Law and Transitional Systems: The Past, Present and Future” was held on June 910, 2018 at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. The conference provided a platform for in-depth discussion of contemporary comparative law and the development of Chinese and comparative law.

 

GCR member Prof. Lutz-Christian Wolff was invited to give a speech on “Comparing Chinese Law……but with which legal systems?”. Thirty legal experts were invited to cover various topics, such as Comparative Law Theory and Comparative Contract Law. It is hoped that the Conference stimulated discussion of Chinese and comparative law under the context of the BRI.
